If you’ve ever been to the Denver Art Museum you know it’s a treasure. I designed this piece for the museum while working in the advertising department of the Denver Post. It was the kind of project you don’t forget because it was far from the typical ads we designed on a day-to-day basis. The final result was a tabloid-size standalone feature in the Post. Usually our workflow was for the designers to sketch out the ads and for them to go to the composition department for typesetting and final “camera ready” production. In this case the Post wanted it to be done right so they let me take it all the way from concept through camera-ready.
